LJ India Questionnare

LiveJournal already has a vibrant community in India and we want it to grow. By piloting the India specific forum, we are looking to begin a dialogue with our netizens to determine what you need and how we can get you what you want.

This survey will help us expand our engagement with you: We want to support your growth and your potential – and your responses will help us do so.

We’re keen to learn your priorities, the products you like, the tools you use and what you would tweak in the marketing as well as the content.

We look forward to your comments and suggestions.

Cheers,

Team LJ India

The Last Two..
If only Livejournal had...
-Phone posting from Indian Toll-Free/STD/Local numbers.
-SMS services in India
-Advertising!! (Ask a university full of people if anyone's heard of LJ and you'll have two or three hands go up and that too, hesitantly!) Few know it even exists.
-More active communities. (Especially city-based communities)
-Some tech-gig's. (Most users would love to learn about things like modifying Journal Styles, writing applications and plugins for LJ, etc. But even the manuals are'nt very communicative in that respect)

India specific stuff:
Probably just regional accessibility and social get togethers.

India is not such a tough market. It's mostly a market that's fueled by awareness. LJ is probably the best blogging site in the world, it certainly rules with it's commenting system! But if people could only be made aware of LJ before they start blogging on other sites like "Rediff Blogs", "Indiatimes Blogs", "Blogger", "Wordpress", etc., People would definitely check it out and either migrate to LJ, or start fresh blogs here!

Peer influence rocks! Grab one individual, get him/her hooked and his or her peers will follow. :o)

Re: The Last Two..
Hey! I thought you'd vanished from LJ altogether. I kinda drifted right out of the circuit for a while, but well, am back with a bang (I hope!). :o)

Nice to see you're still doing the beat! Rock on!

Yes, she got in touch with me earlier. We'll be looking forward to a new face in the crowd. :)

I've already given her a rough picture as to what the meets are all about and what to expect, but I guess a real touch-feel would make a world of a difference. :)

P.S.: Next time anyone from the team happens to be in the city, feel free to contact a mod or make a post on the community. We often have honorary or impromptu meets when we have visitors from out of town. :)

how to lose 17 pouns in 9 weeks
When Proactol's non-soluble fibers come into contact with any dietary fats you eat... They bind with them immediately to form a fluid gel around the fat making the fats too large to be absorbed by your body and the unabsorbed fats will pass naturally through your body.

I don't have much to say except that I find it intriguing to see ads of competitor Indian blogs like blog.co.in and ibibo on this site. One would imagine LJ would not display their ads if it wants to grow in India. Just a heads-up, heh :D
